I design products that have to be made, not only rendered. The work starts with the person using it and ends on the production line.
I'm a visualiser and a problem solver, and I learn whatever a project needs. At TDConnex that meant learning GD&T, tolerance stacks and supplier quality well enough to lead a relay redesign. In the UK it meant designing a guest-room system with engineers, not just the switches on the wall.
I started as the only designer at TDConnex and have built a team around me: a product designer, and product, power-electronics and electromechanical engineers. Next, I want to keep doing that work alongside designers I can learn from.
